Our commitments
What we will never do
This page exists so that you can hold us to it.
Last reviewed September 2026. Correct as at 17 September 2026.
What this tool does. It writes the letters and asks the questions. It does not tell you what to do with the answers. It is not financial advice, and we are not authorised to give it.
We will never telephone you
We do not ask for your phone number, and we do not hold one. There is no call centre and there are no outbound calls. If someone rings you claiming to be us, they are not us.
We will never email you asking for details of your schemes
There is no database of your pensions for us to ask about, because there is no server storing anything. We do not need your scheme details by email, and we will never ask for them that way. Anything that does is not from us.
We will never suggest a provider
We do not recommend, name or rank any pension provider, consolidator, adviser or comparison service. There is no product behind this page and nothing to steer you toward.
We will never tell you what to do with a pension
We are not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority to advise on investments, and we will not do it informally either — not because you asked nicely, and not in a private message. We state facts and write letters. The decisions are yours.
We will never take a penny from the pensions industry
No referral fees, no commission, no lead generation, no introducer arrangements, no revenue share, no paid placement, no sponsored content, no advertising of any kind. Not now, and not if the business grows. We are paid by you, once, or not at all.
We will never conceal the free alternatives
Everything you can do here that could be done free elsewhere is signposted to the free option, above any price, on every page. If the free route does what you need, we would rather you used it.
We will never make you subscribe
There is no subscription, no auto-renewal and no account required to use the tracing tool. The paid options are one-off and plainly described.
We will never sell, share or lose your data, because we never collect it
Your case lives in your browser. It is not sent to a server and it is not ours to sell, share or lose. When you choose to have a pack built, only what is needed to build it is sent, and only at that moment.
If we ever break one of these, the correct response is to say so publicly and stop using us.
The two letters
The HMRC employment-history letter
The only route to a complete list of every employer you ever had. Written, addressed and ready to sign.
The seven-question scheme letter
Membership, value, retirement age, guarantees, transfer value, death benefits and the address on file — put to every scheme you were ever in.
